6. Tools and Services for Analysis, Statistics, and Marketing
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager on our website, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to manage website tags through a user interface. The Tag Manager itself does not process personal data; in particular, it does not create user profiles, store cookies, or conduct its own analyses. It merely serves to manage and deploy other tools (e.g., tracking or statistics tools). However, these tools may themselves collect data—you will find information about this in the corresponding sections of this privacy policy.
When using Tag Manager, your IP address may be transferred to servers of the parent company Google LLC in the USA. There is currently no adequacy decision by the EU Commission for the USA. Therefore, transfer is based on EU standard contractual clauses and, if necessary, your consent.
Use of Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free and efficient integration and management of third-party services on our website.

Google Analytics (4)
This website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, dwell time, operating systems used, and origin of the user. This data is summarized in a user ID and assigned to the respective device of the website visitor.
Furthermore, with Google Analytics we can record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks, among other things. Google Analytics also uses various modeling approaches to supplement the collected data sets and employs machine learning technologies in data analysis.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable user recognition for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g., cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.
Google also has certification under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF commits to complying with these data protection standards.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
More information about how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Google Signals
We use Google Signals. When you visit our website, Google Analytics captures your location, search history, and YouTube history, among other things, as well as demographic data (visitor data). This data can be used for personalized advertising with the help of Google Signals. If you have a Google account, the visitor data from Google Signals is linked to your Google account and used for personalized advertising messages. The data is also used to create anonymized statistics on the user behavior of our users.
Google Analytics E-Commerce Measurement
This website uses the "E-Commerce Measurement" function of Google Analytics. With E-Commerce Measurement, the website operator can analyze the purchasing behavior of website visitors to improve their online marketing campaigns. Information is captured such as orders placed, average order values, shipping costs, and the time from viewing to purchasing a product. This data can be summarized by Google under a transaction ID that is assigned to the respective user or their device.
Note on Google Services
We use services of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").
Further information about data security and data protection at Google can be found at Responsible Handling of Business Data
and about the terms of use at https://policies.google.com/terms.
You can change your cookie settings at any time {here}.
6.2. Advertising and Marketing
Google Ads
The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Ads enables us to display advertisements in Google's search engine or on third-party websites when users enter certain search terms on Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted advertisements can be displayed based on user data available at Google (e.g., location data and interests) (audience targeting). As website operators, we can quantitatively evaluate this data by analyzing, for example, which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many advertisements led to corresponding clicks.
Use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
For the USA, there is also an adequacy decision by the European Commission, provided companies certify under the Data Privacy Framework program. Google is correspondingly certified and thus meets the EU Commission's requirements.
Google AdSense (non-personalized)
This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating advertisements. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use Google AdSense in "non-personalized" mode. Unlike personalized mode, advertisements are therefore not based on your previous user behavior and no user profile of you is created. Instead, "context information" is used when selecting advertisements. The selected advertisements are then based, for example, on your location, the content of the website you are on, or your current search terms. More about the differences between personalized and non-personalized targeting with Google AdSense can be found at: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9007336.
Please note that even when using Google AdSense in non-personalized mode, cookies or comparable recognition technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting) may be used. According to Google, these are used to combat fraud and abuse.
Use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6.3. Social Media and Communication
Meta Pixel
This website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook for conversion measurement. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook, however, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.
This allows the behavior of page visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This enables the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.
The collected data is anonymous for us as operators of this website; we cannot draw conclusions about users' identities. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook's data use policy. This enables Facebook to place advertisements on Facebook pages and outside Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as page operators.
Use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of data and its forwarding to Facebook. Processing by Facebook that occurs after forwarding is not part of joint responsibility. Our jointly incumbent obligations have been recorded in a joint processing agreement. The wording of the agreement can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum.
According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing data protection information when using the Facebook tool and for implementing the tool in a data protection-compliant manner on our website. Facebook is responsible for the data security of Facebook products.

In Facebook's privacy policy, you will find further information on protecting your privacy: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

Meta Custom Audiences
We use Meta Custom Audiences. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland.
When you visit or use our websites and apps, use our free or paid offers, transmit data to us, or interact with our company's Facebook content, we collect your personal data. If you give us consent to use Facebook Custom Audiences, we will transmit this data to Facebook, which can then display suitable advertising to you. The analyses are carried out for the purpose of business evaluations, marketing, and market research (e.g., to determine customer groups with different characteristics). Where available, we can take into account the profiles of registered users along with their information, e.g., about services used. The analyses serve only us and are not disclosed externally unless they are anonymous analyses with aggregated, i.e., anonymized values. Furthermore, we respect users' privacy and process data for analysis purposes as pseudonymously as possible and, where feasible, anonymously (e.g., as aggregated data).
7.3. Payment Service Providers
Within the scope of contractual and other legal relationships, due to legal obligations, or otherwise based on our legitimate interests, we offer affected persons efficient and secure payment options and use additional payment service providers in addition to banks and credit institutions (collectively "payment service providers").
